Get in bed with the planet.

Our Mission is Simple

Make better bedding. To us that means more than just making the highest quality product we can make, it means ensuring that every part of the process, from growing and sourcing the raw materials to manufacturing, shipping, and pricing is sustainable and equitable.

Use Sustainable Materials

Our products are MADE IN GREEN certified through a traceable supply chain from seed to sheet. In addition to meeting rigorous MADE IN GREEN standards for purity and safety, we exclusively source Turkish cotton, which is naturally softer and requires no heavy harmful chemical processing, unlike conventional cotton.  We remove toxins and pesticides through every part of the process — from field to harvest to dyeing — so you can rest easy.

Produce Ethically

We work exclusively with OEKO TEX certified factories to ensure that the artisans who manufacture our products are compensated fairly to support sustainable livelihoods, work in safe, healthy environments, and adhere to realistic work schedules.

Price Transparently

We empower consumers by arming them with the facts to make smarter buying decisions. Most people equate price with quality, but that can be misleading.  The truth is, brands often markup their products up to 10 times the production cost for lots of reasons — to build in margin for wholesale partnerships, to fund anticipated markdowns, or simply to give the appearance of luxury. Because we sell directly to consumers and without markdowns, we’re able to price our product fairly.

Learn where our products are made

I grew up in the family textile business and have decades of experience in buying, production, wholesaling, and relationships with suppliers all over the world. I’ve also seen the shortcomings of the retail side of the industry — from vague, unsubstantiated claims and marketing lingo like “eco-friendly” and “green” to confusing definitions of quality, insane markups, and deep discounts. Rather than add to the noise, I wanted to create a company I could feel good about — that represented everything I’d want for my own home — clean, natural materials, ethically made, and fairly priced. Verlee means truthful — and truth and transparency are at the center of everything we do — with pricing, with people, and our planet.
